Here is an example even I'm using to manually fire events.
After you import the webtrends App Delegate .h and initialize the library in appDelegate (replace NSObject with WTAppDelegate) you can then insert any events you want in your code.
WTEvent *myScreenViewEvent= [WTEvent eventForScreenView:@"Replace this string with one populated byyour screen name"
description:@"Replace this string with a variable populated by a short description"
contentGroup:@"Optional Webtrends Content Group"];
I happen to have a little powerpoint slideshow you can use to hopefully guide the steps. My slides end with me adding an event to my viewDidLoad (similar to the code I have above). Maybe this will be useful to you.
